The church is looking for members who will prayerfully consider serving on the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC). This heavy and sacred responsibility of seeking, on behalf of the Lord, the one whom He is calling to serve our church as pastor.

It is a weekly process, time intensive, (potentially eight or more hours a week, some weeks). The commitment is for the duration of the search, which could last more than a year, but will be for however long it takes to discover God’s will.
If you have an interest in serving the congregation in this way, and

• Have a collaborative spirit, and a heart to prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit’s leading
• Possess technical proficiency (or are willing to learn – Zoom meetings, potential candidate interviews, videos of candidate sermons, etc.)
• And have been a member of First Pres for over a year, who regularly participates in worship and in other ministries
